Why are people so arrogant?


I simply can not understand why some people just think that rules don't apply to them.  My team was at a national competition this weekend and someone on the team decided that he didn't want to come until two hours after the time that the coach had told us to be there.  Not only did he decide that he wasn't going to be there on time, he didn't even bother to let anyone know so that the whole team wouldn't stress over it.  As a graduating Senior, this was his last competition.  You'd think that would make it important to him, right?  Nope.  He threw the routine.  So much for team spirit! :(

Saint Patrick's Day


Saint Patrick's day is by far my favorite holiday of the year.  I get to go out and dance for people in Irish pubs listening to the great Irish music with my friends and family.  I love the way people watch your every move and clap along with the music, as if willing you to dance more.  I feel like it is such a great way to celebrate my Irish heritage.  I am so proud to be Irish and this day just brings all of us Irish (and not so Irish) together in a day to celebrate being Irish.  Happy Saint Patrick's day everybody!

What a difference a team can make...

My teammates mean everything to me.  There's something about the hours and hours we spend together at practices and competitions that makes us all so close.  This picture was from last year and our team has almost doubled.  Everyone has stayed so close and welcomed our new teammates to the NE family.  I love this team and we are going to do an awesome job at nationals in ten days! Good timing.

I just love the way that some things happen exactly when you need them to. You male it inside, right before the storm starts. You look up, moments before you bump into a stranger. You get to go on a vacation right after a long week. Sometimes things fall into place, just when you need them to the most. I am thankful for these times thst seem to be occuring ever so frequentlt lately. Maybe some March luck for me, the Irish girl.
